Palestine: WFTU Denounces the new Murder of tens of Palestinians In Gaza Today

STOP TO THE SLAUGHTER!

The World Federation of Trade Unions firmly condemns and demands the immediate stop to the slaughter of tens of Palestinians in Gaza by Israeli forces. Right now tens of unarmed Palestinians are being murdered, injured and threatened by the Israeli forces, because they are protesting against the transfer of the USA embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, and because they demand the right to go back to their land that was taken from them on May 15th 1948.

At least 41 Palestinians have been murdered and more than 2.000 have been injured in Gaza today, raising the toll to 100 Palestinians murdered since the beginning of their protests on March 30. The Israeli army continues to shoot our Palestinian brothers and sisters in cold blood.

On the behalf of the 92 million workers the WFTU represents all over the Globe, we are joining our voice with the people of Palestine who are protesting and we demand:

Stop to the aggression of the murderer state of Israel.

No to the transfer of the USA embassy in Jerusalem. Jerusalem is the eternal capital of Palestine.

STOP TO THE SLAUGHTER! – RECOGNITION OF THE INDEPENDENT PALESTINIAN STATE!

The WFTU condemns the new USA and Israel aggression in the Middle East

The World Federation of Trade Unions, gathering in its ranks more than 92 million workers in 126 countries all over the world, follows the recent developments concerning the withdrawal of the U.S.A. from the international nuclear agreement on the nuclear program of Iran and the announcement of new economic sanctions against Iran by the U.S.A. The U.S.A. once more uses false pretexts in order to exploit the natural resources of other countries and to serve the interests of national large monopoly groups.

These actions, combined with the missile attack of Israel against Syria on May 10, are a new form of aggression against the peoples of the Middle East that put them at great risk and further destabilize the situation in the region.

We call on the workers, the ordinary people of the countries of the Eastern Mediterranean and the Middle East to strengthen their struggle against the imperialist plans and interventions that cause wars and misery to the peoples for the profits of the imperialists.
