B.T.M.Giri, District President controlled the proceedings. Com. H.C.Prakash, District Secretary welcomed the gathering. Coms. C.K.Gundanna Circle Secretary, BSNLEU, H.Sudharshan, AGS, BSNLEU, R.G.Bhandari, Circle President, AIBDPA, Keshav, Circle Treasurer, BSNLEU and Girish, Branch Secretary, BSNLEU addressed.The leaders covered almost all the relevant issues, including 3rd PRC, wage revision, pension revision, separate tower company, BSNL MRS etc. The biennial report and accounts presented by the District Secretary and Treasurer were adopted after discussion.

A new set of office bearers were elected unanimously with Com. B.T.M.Giri (President), H.C.Prakash (District Secretary) and Com. V.Girish Chander (Treasurer)
