CHQ RELEASES PRESS STATEMENT ON AGITATIONAL PROGRAMME DEMANDING PENSION REVISION AND SETTLEMENT OF OTHER ISSUES.

ORGANISE THE DEMANDS DAY ON 22-06-2022 BY HOLDING POWERFUL DEMONSTRATIONS AT MEXIMUM PLACES.
The first AGITATION of the three phased agitational programmes demanding pension revision, clear all medical claims, payment of frozen IDA instalments, ensure effective CGHS services, immediate payment of pension and retirement benefits to VRS retirees of Maharashtra belonging to ST category and restore the LPD arbitrarily cut by certain CCAs, falls on 22-06-2022. The day is to be observed by holding powerful demonstrations at all levels (maximum centers in each district) with good participation of pensioners so that the message of agitation reaches all pensioners and authorities, as well. Please take care to give wide publicity of the program.
MAKE THE AUAB DHARNA ON 21-06-2022 A GRAND SUCCESS.
As already been intimated AUAB has given a call for a daylong Dharna on 21-06-2022 demanding upgradation of certain pay scales, 30% superannuation benefits to the BSNL recruited employees and some other issues. All AIBDPA units are requested to extend everything needed to hold the Dharna successfully.

Com. P Ellaiah was an active social worker and always ready to help the needy people. He was a retired SDE and took up the responsibility of District Secretary after retirement He was under treatment for the last one month at CMC, Vellore and the end came on 16th June,2022.

TAMIL NADU CIRCLE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING HELD ONLINE.
Tamil Nadu Circle has held its Circle Executive Committee meeting online on 14-06-2022. Com. C K Narasimhan, Circle President presided over the meeting. Com. R Rajasekar, Circle Secretary welcomed and presented a brief on agenda items. Com. K G Jayaraj, General Secretary inaugurated the meeting explaining the agitational programme decided by AIBDPA, Coordination Committee of BSNLEU, AIBDPA and BSNLCCWF, AUAB and BSNLCCWF and appealed to make these agitations a grand success. Coms. S Mohandoss, CHQ Vice President and K Pankajavalli, CHQ Asst Treasurer also addressed. 17 district Secretaries and 17 Circle office bearers took part in the discussion. The meeting allocated quota of participants in the March to Sanchar Bhawan to each district and decided to successfully organise the agitations. With vote of thanks by Com.S Nataraja, Circle Treasurer the maating came to and end.

MADURAI DISTRICT CONFERENCE HELD SUCCESSFULLY.


The 5th biennial conference of Madurai has been held with good participation on 12-06-2022. Com. S John Pasha, Circle President controlled the proceedings. Com. N Utharkumar, District Secretary welcomed the gathering. Com. R Rajasekar, Circle Secretary inauguarted the conference explaining the important issues and the ensuing agitational programmes. Coms. Appan Raj (NCCPA) P.Richards (BSNLEU) etc greeted the conference. The report and accounts were adopted after discussion. Thereafter a new set of office bearers were elected with Com.N Utharkumar (President) Com. S Selvin Sathyaraj (District Secretary) and Com. R Shanmughavel (Treasurer).

9. Financial difficulties in pursuing the issues through litigation.
10. Organisation: Formal grant of affiliation to the applicant associations.
11. Holding of deferred Asia-pacific regional conference of TUI – deferred due to corona pandemic.
12. Any other matter with the permission of the chair including the Observance of 75th Anniversary of Indian Independence.

SILIGURI DISTRICT CONFERENCE HELD SUCCESSFULLY.


The 5th biennial conference of Siliguri was held at GM office Recreation Club on 12-06-2022. The open session was inaugurated by Com.Dipen Kunda, Convenor of Pensioners Coordination Committee. Coms. J P Banik, CORTO, Dhuser Dey, CGPA and Amal Jana, District Secretary, BSNLEU greeted the conference. The delegate session was inaugurated by Com. Pijush Chakraborty explaining the main issues and the ensuing agitational programmes. Com.R K Yadav, District Secretary presented the report and accounts which were adopted by the conference after discussion. The conference elected office bearers unanimously with Com. Bipul Chakraborty (President) Com.Ramkedar Yadav (District Secretary) Com.Sudhir Chakraborty (Treasurer).
KERALA CIRCLE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING HELD.

Kerala Circle Executive Committee meeting was held at P&T House, Thiruvananthapuram on 11-06-2022. Com. K Mohanan, Circle President presided over the meeting. Com.N Guruprasad, Circle Secretary welcomed all and presented the report. Com. V A N Namboodiri, Advisor inaugurated the CEC with an impressive and educative speech. Com.K Arjunan, veteran leader and Circle Patron was honoured in the meeting. Com. K G Jayaraj, General Secretary explained the agitational programmes decided by CHQ and the demands raised. Com. P V Chandrasekharan, Patron spoke on the principled and correct stand of the organisation right from its formation. Com. R Muraleedharan Nair, AGS also addressed the meeting. All the district Secretaries and most of the Circle Office bearers participated in the discussion. The meeting took important decisions including to make the agitations of AIBDPA, BSNLCCWF, AUAB and Coordination Committee successfull, One month long membership campaign and conduct a study camp.
