The Pension Fund Regulatory and Developement authority Bill has been presented in the Lok sabha on 24th March 2011 amidst stout opposition from the left party MPs.UPA I Govt.could not present the draconian bill due to the opposition of the left parties on whose support the Govt.existed.Now the UPA II does not require the support of the left parties,they desperately want to get passed the bill in the Lok Sabha.The main intention of the bill is to privatise the pension fund ,rather to invest in share market.This will definitely endanger the pensioners.AIBDPA strongly protest against the move of the Govt.to pass the bill.

Gen Secy Com.Jayaraj writes to CMD BSNL regarding one extra increment issue.See letters.

BSNL corporate office has issued a wonderful clarificatory order with regard to NEPP resulting virtual denial of extra increment granded in lieu of Grade IV promotion .It is not only arbitrary , discriminatory and also against the priciple of natural justice.

Continuous pressure and agitation by BSNLEU and AIBDPA has its result.Pension revision orders  of pre- 2007 retirees issued by DOT .Click here

CHQ has verified with DOT and has got the impression that the orders will be issued by Monday or Tuesday.Certain quarters are spreading the news that the orders are issued today.It is not correct.

Our demonstration and telegrams  on 7th March had its effect.BSNLEU CHQ leaders met DOT officers and got categorical assurance that the order on pension revision would be issued this week end or the latest next week..Congtulations to all for making the protest day a grand success.

Reports received from all over the country shows massive partcipation in the protest day held on 7.3.2011.The day was obseved in protest against the delay in issuing orders of pension revision of pre-2007 retirees even after approval by the cabinet.Com.V. A. N. Namboodiri inagurated the programme at Kozhikode(Kerala)and at Alappuzha by the Gen.secretary Com.K.G Jayaraj.Detailed report would be given later.
