Medical payment for outdoor treatment, with and without voucher, based on Revised Pay, is approved by the Management Committee. Now this will be put up for the approval of BSNL Board. This is as per the agreement reached in the last National Council meeting. CHQ will ensure early issue of the order.
Revision of pension of pre-2007 pensioners​/family pensioners Order
No change of IDA rate w.e.f. 01.07.2011 (No increase / No decrease) for both revised and pre-revised pay / pension. It is as per price index released by Labour Bureau.
Enhancement of concession to BSNL/DOT employees and pensioners for Broad Band
in case of Rs 750/- scheme.The case was taken up as an item in the National council held
on 24-6-2011.After hearing the demand of the Staff Side,, the Chairman stated that the
scheme is already implemented for the serving employees and it would be implemented
in case of pensioners also.
The UPA Govt. continues its tirade against the people by incresing the Diesel,LPG and kerosine prices which will lead to heavy price rise and inflation.On June 2010 the price of LPG was raised by Rs.35 and Diesel by Rs.2.Now the increase is by Rs.50 for LPG and Rs.3 for Diesel.These hike is made raising the loss of the oil companies But as per their balance sheet of these companies they are making profit and giving divident to its share holders.When the poor people suffer, the private oil companies will get thousands of crores into their kit.Is it the Indian model democracy?

Glad News! The management in the National Council has agreed to the staff demand to allot Staff Quarters to Pensioners wherever quarters are vacanct on usual rent. This isue was taken up by our association in our charter of demand and held discussions with Honourable MOC and BSNL management and agreed that this issue would be considered.BSNLEU has taken this issue in the National council and the agreement is reached.Our sincere thanks to BSNLEU leaders for this achievement.
The Protest Day against the petrol and petroleum products hike called by the Central Unions were organised today, 23rd June jointly by the Central Trade Unions and Federations of service organisations in many important centres in the country.
This is part of the Central Trade Unions protest programme against the price hike.
Reports received from all parts of the country shows our members participated in the agitation in large numbers.Our members has either joined the Joint programme or with the programme conducted by the service organisations seperately.
