BSNLEU successfully completed its CEC on 31st January and 1st February 2026 at Mangalore, Karnataka. The CEC urged all the members of the union to participate enthusiastically in the General Strike on 12th February 2026 against the anti-worker policies of the central government and also focusing the sectional demands of BSNL employees including pay revision and pension revision.
The meeting started with the presidential address by Com. M Vijayakumar, All India President. Com. VAN Namboodiri, Advisor AIBDPA, inaugurated the CEC. Com. VAN touched all the issues including pension validation Act and TOR of 8th CPC. Com. Animesh Mitra General Secretary BSNLEU presented the report of activities. Com. R.Muraleedharan Nair, General Secretary AIBDPA addressed the meeting and focused the importance of unity of BSNL employees, executives and pensioners. Com. S.Varalekshmi (CITU) addressed the meeting by elaborating the anti-worker clauses included in the new labour codes. The meeting concluded with specific decisions pertaining to the employees and the working class in general.
