Shri. Ram Vilas Paswan, Minister for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution has passed away on 08-10-2020. He was 74 and suffering from heart ailment for sometime long and undergone heart surgery and he breathed his last at a hospital in New Delhi. Shri Paswan had been Minister in various cabinets under six Prime Ministers. He was the Minister for Communications during the formation of BSNL. Shri Paswan was a prominent Dalit leader and has the record of winning the Parliament seat of Hajpur five times. He formed his own party , LJP, in 2000 and had considerable support in Bihar. The passing away of Shri. Ram Vilas Paswan is a great loss to the country. AIBDPA pays respectful homage and conveys heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
