Com.K G Jayaraj, General Secretary inaugurated Thiruvananthapuram District Convention at P&T House on 09-01-2020. Com.N Vikraman Nair, District President presided. Com.C Ramachandran, District Secretary welcomed one and all. General Secretary explained the decisions of Guwahati CEC, including the agitational programme for pension revision viz; signature campaign in the memorandum to be submitted to the Prime Minister, Meeting the Parliament Members,seeking their help by taking up the issue of pension revision with the government, Hunger Strike at CCA offices and Parliament March. He appealed to make the program successful and take up the important task of enrolling VRS optees  seriously.

Com.P K Muraleedharan, Circle Convenor, NFPE, C Santhoshkumar, Circle Secretary, BSNLEU and R.Muraleedharan Nair,AGS also addressed the convention. Com.Pratapachandran proposed vote of thanks.
