The 5th biennial Circle Conference of Tamil Nadu was held at Durgha Mahal, Coimbatore on 29-30 ,June, 2019. Com.P.Manickamurthy , Circle President presided over the conference. Com.P R Natarajan MP and Chairman, Reception Committee welcomed one and all. Com.C K Narasimhan , Circle Secretary also welcomed all on behalf of the Circle branch.

Inaugurating the conference , Com K G Jayaraj, General Secretary explained in detail the post general election national situation and how our issues including pension revision and revival of BSNL are connected to these situations. He firmly asserted that strong and joint struggles are to waged to face the dangerous political situation in the country and the possible onslaught of the government. General Secretary congratulated the Circle Branch for the advancement in membership and the systematic functioning.  Coms.K Raghavendran, General Secretary, AIPRPA, Babu Radhakrishnan, Circle Secretary, BSNLEU, G S Narasimhan, Circle Secretary, AIBDPA,Chennai Telephones, S Mohandoss, CHQ Vice President, C Vinodkumar, Circle Secretary, TNTCWU, K Pankajavally, CHQ Asst Treasurer, Merlin Alice Mary,BSNL WWCC and Arumugam, Dist Vice President, CITU adressed the conference. The message from  Dr.Niranjana, CCA, Tamil Nadu wishing  the coference all success was read out by the Circle Secretary. More than 500 comrades participated in the inaugural session.

In the subject session Com.C K Narasimhan, Circle Secretary and Com.S.Nataraja, Treasurer submitted the biennial report and audited accounts. 32 comrades from the district branches and 3 circle office bearers participated in the discussion. Coms.K G Jayaraj, General Secretary and C K Narasimhan, Circle Secretary replied to the issues raised in the discussion after which both the report and accounts were adopted. 38 resolutions on various issues presented by Com.N Kuppusamy on behalf of the Resolution Committee were adopted unanmously. Com.Muthukumarasamy, Convenor, Crential Committee presented the credential report.

The conference then elected a 25 member circle office bearers unanmously with Com.C K Narasimhan (President) Com. N Kuppusamy (Circle Secretary) and Com. S Nataraja (Treasurer)

The Reception Committee headed by Com.P R Natarajan MP(Chairman) and Com.V Venkitaraman (General Secretary) made excellent arrangements and were duly felicitataed. With vote of thanks by Com P Gnanasekharan Asst Circle Secretary the memorable conference came to an end at 4.30PM on 30th June, 2019.
