The 5th biennial conference of Coimbatore District was held on 18-09-2018.

Com.C.K.Narasimhan, Circle Secretary inaugurated the conference with a detailed speech covering the current issues of wage revision, pension revision, BSNL MRS and the struggles being waged . Com.K.Chandrasekharan, District Vice President presided over the conference. Coms.S.Mohandoss, CHQ Vice President and P.Manickamurthy, Circle President delivered special address. Coms. P.Soundryapandian, ACS, K.Pankajavally, Circle Vice President, C.Rajendran, District Secretary, BSNLEU, T.K.Presannan, District Secretary, SNEA and S.Shanmugasundaram, District Secretary, TNTCWU greeted the conference.

The report and audited accounts presented by the District Secretary and Treasurer were adopted after discussion. A 22 member office bearers were elected unanimously.
