A largely attended womens’ convention was held at NGO Union Hall, Kannur on 16-08-2018 to form the District Womens’ Committee. Com.P.V.Unnikrishnan, Circle Patron and District President controlled the proceedings. Com.P.P.Divya, Vice President, District Panjayath inaugurated the convention. Coms.K.V.remadevi, K.Syamala, C.P.Sobhana, P.Manoharan, Raveendran Kodakkad, K.Mohanan, V.V.Presannakumari and K.R.R.Varma addressed the convention. Com.K.Kunhiraman, District Secretary welcomed and K.Rajan, Assistant Circle Secretary proposed vote of thanks.

Office bearers were elected unanimously to the District Womens’ Committee with Coms.P.M.Aleyamma (Chairman), P.M.Annamma and N.Pushpa (Vice Chairmen), P.Sarada (Convenor), V.N.Kalyanikutty and K.P.Sreelatha (Joint Convenors).
