Com.Mohammad Amin, former General Secretary, CITU and PB Member, CPI(M) has breathed his last on 12-02-2018 at Kolkata. He was also former MP(Rajya Sabha) and Minister in West Bengal. During his stay in New Delhi as an MP and General Secretary, CITU ,he was closely associated with BSNLEU and had taken up a number of issues in the Parliament. Com.Amin had a humble beginning as a Jute mill worker and was very sincere and committed to the workers and the down trodden. He was 89 and ailing for some time.
