The second biennial conference of Bongaigaon District was held befittingly on 06-08-2017. 75 delegates from Nalbari, Barpeta Road, Dhubri, Goalpara, Kokrajhar and Bongaigaon participated in the conference. Com. D.C.Paul, District President presided over the conference. Com.Subrata Dey, District Secretary, SNEA inaugurated the conference. Com.S.N.Sarma, Circle Secretary gave a detailed account of the current developments and appealed to strengthen the organisation. Coms. D.N.Baishya, Circle President, Omkar Bhowmik, District Secretary, BSNLEU and Dwipen Rabha, District Secretary, AIBCCWF also addressed. Com.Janmil Ali presented the report and was adopted after discussion.

Office bearers were elected unanimously with Com. R.S.Roy (President), D.C.Paul (District Secretary) and Com.Amalananda Chakraborty (Treasurer)
