Belgaum District, one of the biggest branches in Karnataka, held the tri-monthly General body Meeting at Kannada Sahitya Samithi hall on 11-07-2017 with massive participation of pensioners. Com.Sarapure, District Secretary welcomed the gathering. Com.G.G.Patil, Asst General Secretary inaugurated the meeting explaining the current developments including the efforts taken by CHQ in settling 78.2%, annulment of 60:40, restoration of medical allowance, free night call facility,3rd PRC and the  proposed One Day Strike on 27-07-2017 by All Unions and Associations demanding pay revision and pension revision. He exhorted to support the strike and also participate in the the Hunger Strike on 13-07-2017. Com.R.B.Tatapati, District President and  Circle Vice President delivered the presidential address and appealed to strengthen the organisation. Com. Gaste and other leaders also addressed.
