In the common memorandum submitted to the 7th Pay Commission by the staff unions and pensioners associations, it was demanded to scrap the PFRDA Act and implement statutory defined benefit pension to the employees recruited on or after 01-01-2004,instead of NPS. But the pay commission gave a recommendation to streamline the NPS and the government is now attempting to another farce exercise only to cheat the employees and the pensioners as in the case of “High Level Committees” constituted to implement the assurances given by the Group of Ministers to the NJCA
