The 3rd biennial District Conference of Virudhunagar, Tamilnadu has been held on 9th August,2014  at Com. N. Varadarajan Memorial Hall, Virudhunagar. Com. S. Murugasean, District President presided over the meeting. Com. S. Mohandoss, CHQ Vice President & Circle President inaugurated the Conference with an educative speech. Com. K. G. Jayaraj, General Secretary, addressing the conference explained in detail almost all the issues, including the present position of 78.2% IDA mereger, and the efforts being taken by the CHQ. Com. C. K. Narasimhan, Circle Secretary, Com. S. Ravindran, District Secretary, BSNLEU, Com. G. Selvaraj, District Secretary, SNEA and Com. Jothisudanthiranathan, District Scretary, Vellore addressed. The report and accounts presented by Com. M. Ayyasamy, District Secretary were adopted after discussion.

Office bearers with Com. S. Murugesan (President), Com. M. Ayyasamy (District Secretary) and  Com. M. Perumalsamy (Treasurer) were elected unanimously.
