A special General Body meeting of Krishna District Branch was held at Vijayawada on 9th August,2014 under the presidentship of Com. R. Madhava Rao. There was a huge participation of about 250 pensioners. Com.Balaraju, District Secretary and Com. B. Mohana Rao, Treasurer presented the report and accounts,respectively.

Com. P. Asokababu, CHQ Vice President attended the meeting as Chief Guest and spoke in detail about the demands of the pensioners contained in the memorandum submitted to the 7th Pay Commission. He also explained the decisions of the Coimbatore Central Executive Committee Meeting on 29th & 30th July,2014 and appealed to make the campaign week in Sepetember as well as the Sanchar Bhawan/ Bharat Sanchar Bhawan March on 20-11-2014, a great success. Com. V. Sambasiva Rao, Circle President, Com. L. Rameshbabu, District Secretary, BSNLEU, Com. Enoch, District Secretary, AIBDPA, Guntur, Com. K.V.R.R.Prasad, District Secretary, BSNLEU, STSR also addressed the meeting. The massive and effective meeting came to an end with vote of thanka by Com. N.
