





The 5th biennial conference of Madurai has been held with good participation on 12-06-2022. Com. S John Pasha, Circle President controlled the proceedings. Com. N Utharkumar, District Secretary welcomed the gathering. Com. R Rajasekar, Circle Secretary inauguarted the conference explaining the important issues and the ensuing agitational programmes. Coms. Appan Raj (NCCPA) P.Richards (BSNLEU) etc greeted the conference. The report and accounts were adopted after discussion. Thereafter a new set of office bearers were elected with Com.N Utharkumar (President) Com. S Selvin Sathyaraj (District Secretary) and Com. R Shanmughavel (Treasurer).

Notice is hereby given for a meeting of the National Executive of NCCPA on 28th June, 2022 at 3.00 PM at AIRF conference hall, AIRF office, State Entry Road, New Delhi. 110 001. All members are requested to attend the meeting. Any comrade, who is unable to attend for any reason, may kindly intimate the undersigned by 20th June, 2022 so as to enable him to provide a link for such comrade. The following agenda will be considered by the meeting.
AGENDA
1. Review of decisions taken at the last meeting and the implementation of programmes of action.
2. Submission of statement of account as presented to the Registrar of Trade Unions.
3. Finance: Payment of dues by the affiliates.
4. The declining health care facilities and the proposal for agitational programme;
5. Recommendations of Parliament Standing Committee.
6. Denial of DR arrears and the statement made by the Government at the SCOVA meeting.
7. Evolving common demand of all retired personnel whose revision of pension emoluments must be the responsibility of the Government of India.
8. Reporting of the deliberations at the NE meeting of the Confederation and other organisations of the working employees.
9. Financial difficulties in pursuing the issues through litigation.
10. Organisation: Formal grant of affiliation to the applicant associations.
11. Holding of deferred Asia-pacific regional conference of TUI – deferred due to corona pandemic.
12. Any other matter with the permission of the chair including the Observance of 75th Anniversary of Indian Independence.

The 5th biennial conference of Siliguri was held at GM office Recreation Club on 12-06-2022. The open session was inaugurated by Com.Dipen Kunda, Convenor of Pensioners Coordination Committee. Coms. J P Banik, CORTO, Dhuser Dey, CGPA and Amal Jana, District Secretary, BSNLEU greeted the conference. The delegate session was inaugurated by Com. Pijush Chakraborty explaining the main issues and the ensuing agitational programmes. Com.R K Yadav, District Secretary presented the report and accounts which were adopted by the conference after discussion. The conference elected office bearers unanimously with Com. Bipul Chakraborty (President) Com.Ramkedar Yadav (District Secretary) Com.Sudhir Chakraborty (Treasurer).

Kerala Circle Executive Committee meeting was held at P&T House, Thiruvananthapuram on 11-06-2022. Com. K Mohanan, Circle President presided over the meeting. Com.N Guruprasad, Circle Secretary welcomed all and presented the report. Com. V A N Namboodiri, Advisor inaugurated the CEC with an impressive and educative speech. Com.K Arjunan, veteran leader and Circle Patron was honoured in the meeting. Com. K G Jayaraj, General Secretary explained the agitational programmes decided by CHQ and the demands raised. Com. P V Chandrasekharan, Patron spoke on the principled and correct stand of the organisation right from its formation. Com. R Muraleedharan Nair, AGS also addressed the meeting. All the district Secretaries and most of the Circle Office bearers participated in the discussion. The meeting took important decisions including to make the agitations of AIBDPA, BSNLCCWF, AUAB and Coordination Committee successfull, One month long membership campaign and conduct a study camp. The CEC meeting concluded with vote of thanks by Com. P Ganesan, Circle Organising Secretary.

The 4th biennial district conference of Malda in West Bengal was held at Karmachari Bhawan, Malda on 10-06-2022. Com. Pijush Chakraborty, Circle Secretary inaugurated the conference explaining the issues and the ensuing agutational programmes. The conference was greeted by a host of leaders including Coms.Subir Roy (state Coordination Committee), Susanta Nag (12th July Committee), Partha Achariya (BSNLCMU), Nibedita Das and Ujjal Ghosh (BSNLEU). The report and audited accounts presented by the District Secretary were adopted after discussion.
Coms.Bhudeb Majumdar, Sudip Roy Muhari and Ruma Bhattacharjee were elected unanimously as President, District Secretary and Treasurer, respectively.
It has been notified that the next meeting of the Wage Negotiation Committee will be held at BSNL Corporate Office on 10-06-2022. Meanwhile the minutes of the last meeting held on 10-03-2022 is released now.

The Circle Executive Committee meeting of Kolkata Telephones was held on 07-06-2022. Com. Supriyo Mitra, Circle President presided over the meeting. Com. Sanjib Banerjee, Circle Secretary presented the report and briefed on the agenda items. Com. Swastika Dasgupta, CHQ Organsinsing Secretary explained the CHQ agitational programme including Sanchar Bhawan March. District Secretaries and most of the Circle Office bearers participated in the discussion. The CEC meeting decided to conduct the agitations called by CHQ and CoC successfully.

The meeting of the Coordination Committee of BSNLEU, AIBDPA & BSNLCCWF held on 04-06-2022 has decided to continue the campaign against privatisation of PSUs and National Monetisation Pipeline by conducting Human Chain on 07-07-2022. The meeting also decided to celebrate the 75th Independence Day and to highlight the role played by the working class in the Independence movement. Seminar is to be held during the period from 11-7-2022 to 15-08-2022.
The meeting also extended solidarity and support to the agitational programmes of AIBDPA, BSNLCCWF & AUAB. The detailed circular issued in this regard is reproduced hereunder;
