The 5th biennial District Conference of Bankura, West Bengal was held on 26-12-2021 with the participation of 119 delegates. A presidium consisting Coms. L K Tudu, Gurudas Pramanik, Debu Malakar and S D Banerjee controlled the proceedings. Com. Sushanta Ghosh, CHQ Vice President and Circle President inaugurated the conference with an educative speech explaining the issues of the pensioners and the current developments in the country. Coms. Nepal Goswami, Leader, Jukta Mancha, Debishankar Pal, Secretary, CORTO, Kartich Ch Das, leader of BSNLCMU and Sanjoy Pal, District Secretary, BSNLEU addressed the conference. The report and audited accounts placed by the District Secretary and Treasurer were adopted after discussion. Resolutions were also adopted on important issues. Thereafter, office bearers were elected unanimously with Com. Santosh Ch Das (President) Com. Dilip Kr Pal (District Secretary) and Com.Mahadeb Bhattacharya (Treasurer).

A well attended and effective Convention has been held by the Coordination Committee of BSNLEU, AIBDPA & BSNL CCWF, Kolkata Telephones on 27-12-2021 at Subarna Bank Samaj Hall, Kolkata. Com. Sanjib Banerjee, Chairman, CoC presided over the convention. Com. Subash Mukherjee, President, CITU, West Bengal State inaugurated the convention and explained the dangerous situation in the country due to the procorporate policies of Modi government and appealed to join the National Strike on 23-24 February, 2022. Com. Animesh Mitra, President, BSNLEU CHQ, Com. D Basu, Secretary, CORTO, Com.Tapas Banerjee, Circle Secretary, BSNLCMU and Com. Sisir Roy, Convenor also addressed the convention.

The biennial Mehsana District Conference was held on 26-12-2021 with large participation of pensioners. Com, N N Patel, District President presided over the conference. Com. G B Darji, District Secretary welcomed the gathering. Coms. N N Patel, who is also Circle President, V K Pandya, Circle Organising Secretary and V M Darji, ACS jointly inauguarated the conference by lighting of the lamp. Com. N N Patel delivered the keynote address and explained the issues being confronted by the pensioners. Coms, P J Patel , District Secretary, BSNLEU and a host of leaders addressed the conference. The report and accounts presented by Coms. G B Darji, District Secretary and J P Bhavsar , Treasurer were adopted after discussion. Office bearers were elected unanimously with Com. N N Patel (President) Com. G B Darji ( District Secretary) and Com. P J Prajapati (Treasurer)

Valsad District Branch has been reconstituted with enrolment of about 100 new members. The biennial district conference was due also held on 25-12-2021. Com. M G Chaudhary, District President was in chair. Com.B R Desai, Coordinator welcomed one and all. Com. M K Dave Circle Convener, Coordination Committee inaugurated the confernce and explained the peculiar organisational problem in the district and the need for reconstitution in the best interest of AIBDPA. He aslo gave a good account of recent developments on the issues of pensioners.Coms. C U Dwivedi, ACS, A S Dwivedi, DS, Surat, K T Desai, ACS, BSNLEU and M A Chaus, DS, BSNLEU also addressed the conference. A new set of office bearers were elected unanimously with Com. S B Dhimar (President) Com. B R Desai (District Secretary) and Com.N S Patil (Treasurer).

Vododara, the biggest District Branch in Gujarat has held its biennial Conference on 22-12-2021. Com. H J Pal, District President presided over the conference. Com.A J Gosai, District Secretary welcomed the participants. Com.A N Singh, All India Vice President, BSNLEU inaugurated the conference and explained the issues of both pensioners and employees. Com.M Z Khan, Patron, S B Vasava, Circle Organising Secretary and V S Saraia, ACS also addressed the conference. Erode biennial District Conference was held at Periyor Auditorium, Erode with good participation on 23-12-2021. Com.Sivajnanam presided over the conference. Com.S. Rajamanickam, District Secretary welcomed all. The open session was inauguarated by Com.N Kuppusamy, Circle Secretary with an elaborate speech covering the important issues. Coms. C K Narasimhan, Circle President, S Nataraja, Circle Treasurer, Parameswaran, ACS, Alice Tamil Selvarani, Circle Asst Treasurer also addressed. Representing BSNL, Shri. Venkatasubramoniam, Principal General Manager, Erode and Ms. P S Kangeshi, DGM participated and greeted the conference. Com.Aranga Arunachalam Kovai delivered a special address.

The subject session started in the afternoon was inaugurated by Com.C Paramasivam, Circle Organising Secretary. The biennial report and accounts presented were adopted after discussion.
