With profound grief we report the sad demise of Com.Sukomal Sen Ex MP, veteran leader at 10 AM on 222-11-2017 at Kolkata. He was ailing for some time and the end came at a Kolkata hospital. Com.Sukomal Sen was a prominent leader of the working class movement in the country and served in many capacities sincerely and effectively. He was Former General Secretary of All India State Government Employees Federation , Chairman, Central Control Commission of CPI(M), former Vice President,CITU and former General Secretary of TUI (Public Services) of WFTU etc. He was also closely associated with central government employees movement.

AIBDPA dips its banner in respect of the departed leader and conveys heartfelt condolences to his bereaved family.

The second phase of the agitation called by All Unions and Association of BSNL , the HUMAN CHAIN is being organised at District, Circle and Corporate office levels on 23-11-2017 demanding wage revision with 15% fitment from 01-01-2017 to BSNL employees and against formation of separate tower company. As already intimated AIBDPA units are requested to ensure that maximum pensioners are participated in the Human Chain and make it a grand success.

Reports received from the circles indicate that almost all the units have conducted demonstration on 20-11-2017 with good participation of pensioners and sent emails to the Minister for Communications, Secretary, Department of Telecommunication and CMD, BSNL demanding Pension Revision with 15% fitment from 01-01-2017 to BSNL retirees, Rs.2000 monthly Medical Allowance for outdoor treatment and immediate settlement of Pension Revision on Option 3 to DoT retirees.

Now, let us focus on the second phase of the agitation, MASS DHARNA at SSA level on 11-12-2017 with maximum participation of pensioners.
