Com.Sahadev Biswal, veteran leader of Odisha has passed away on 03-02-2024. He was under treatment for multiple ailments for some time long and the end came at KIMS hospital Bhubneswar in the early hours on 3rd February, 2024. Com.Biswal was a sincere and committed leader and has played a pivotal role along with Coms.P R Das and A Dhupal in strengthening telecom unions initially and later BSNLEU in Odisha. During this period he has held important posts at national level, including Vice President of BSNLEU. After retirement , he worked in tandem with Com.A Dhupal in forming and strengthening AIBDPA and took up the responsibilities of Circle Secretary, Circle President and Circle Patron. Com.K G Jayaraj, General Secretary along with Com.A Dhupal, CHQ Vice President had visited him at his home at Bhubaneswar and honoured during the circle conference of Odisha in May, 2023. The new office for Tamil Nadu Circle has started functioning at Chennai on 30-01-2024. It was a long cherished desire of Tamil Nadu comrades to have its own office accommodation in Chennai.
