CALL ATTENTION DAY ON 12-09-2019, A STUPENDOUS SUCCESS.

CHQ call to observe Call Attention Day on 12-09-2019 demanding settlement of pension revision from 01-01-2017 with 15% fitment, delinking wage revision, has been responded massively throghout the country. Demonstrations were held at unit levels in which thousands of pensioners participated enthusiastically ,and emails sent to both the Prime Minister and Communications Minister. 

In view of the Onam Holidays, Kerala Circle has decided to conduct the demonstration on 17-09-2019 and the emails are sent today itself by all the units.

CHQ heartily congratulate all the comrades for their participation in large numbers which has made the programme historic.

COM.R.L.BHATTACHARJEE PASSED AWAY.

With profound grief we report the sad demise of veteran leader of the P&T Trade Union Movement, Com.R L Bhattacharjee . He was unwell for sometime long and the end came at Kolkata on 10-09-2019. He was a relenless fighter and had led many struggles and served the movement in many capacities, including Deputy Secretary General, NFPE. After retirement he was in the forefront to organise the pensioners and was the Patron of NCCPA.

AIBDPA dips its banner in  respect to the departed leader and conveys heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and comrades.

 

MAHARASHTRA CIRCLE DONATED Rs.52951 TO THE FLOOD RELIEF FUND.

As directed by the CHQ , Maharashtra Circle Branch collected Rs.52951 from its members to help the people in distress due to recent floods at Sangli, Satara and Kolhapur districts. The cheque for this amount was handed over to Shri. Avinash Dhakne, District Collector, Jalgaon on 09-09-2019 by Coms.R N Patil, Circle Secretary, Ingale, Circle Treasurer, S R Patil, District Treasurer, Jalgaon etc. The District Collector appreciated AIBDPA for its noble gesture.

SONIPAT DISTRICT CONFERENCE HELD

The Second biennial district conference of Sonipat district Haryana Circle was held on 06-09-2019 under the presidentship of Com.Ashok Kumar Arya at Sonipat. Com.Kuldeep Singh, Circle Secratery inaugurated the conference & explained about the issues related to pensioners like Pension Revision, Medical issues & financial revival of BSNL.He emphasized on strengthening the organization and appealed to conduct the call attention day on 12-09-2019 successfully. Com.H B Chawla, DS welcomed all  and placed the report of activities.Com.M.S Kadian Patron &CS BSNLEU,Com.Mahesh Singh DS BSNLEU also addressed the conference. After adoption of the report  abd accounts, office bearers for the next biennial period were elected  unanimously with the following important functionaries.
