MEETING THE MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT ON PENSION REVISION.

Cms.N Kuppusamy, Circle Secretary, S. Rajamanickam, District Secretary, Erode and other comrades met Shri.Ganesa Murthy, Memment.ber of Lok Sabha, Erode on 07-01-2020 and requested his intervention in settling the long pending issue of pension revision. The MP assured the delegation that he will definitely take up the issue with the government

Shri. S.Bharathy, Member of Rajya Sabha was met  at Chennai on 07-01-2020 by Coms.C K Narasimhan, Circle President and S Nataraja, Circle Treasurer as part of meeting the Parliament Members for early settlement of pension revision. Shri.S.Bharathy readily agreed to do the needful.

COM.T.K.RENGARAJAN MP ASSURES EFFECTIVE INTERVENTION ON PENSION REVISION.

Coms.C K Narasimhan, Circle President, S Nataraja ,Circle Treasurer and T.Kothandam, District Secretary, Chennai Telecom District have met Com.T K Rengarajan, Member of Rajya Sabha at Chennai on 6th January, 2020 and brought his notice that pension revision of BSNL absorbed retirees are pending unsettled for the last three years. The delegation handed over the copy of the memorandum to be submitted to the Prime Minister. Com.T K Rengarajan promptly assured the delegation that he will take up the issue with the government seriously.

KARNATAKA CIRCLE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING HELD SUCCESSFULLY.

Karnataka Circle Executive Committee meeting has been held at Ranebennur on 04-01-2020. Com. Eranna, Circle President controlled the proceedings. Com.Muddaiah, Circle Secretary welcomed and presented the report including the decisions of Guwahati Central Executive Committee Meeting. Com.H C Prakash, AGS explained the agitational programme decided by the CEC for pension revision and appealed to implement it successfully. He also stressed the importance of enrolling VRS optees to AIBDPA. District Secretaries and circle office bearers participated in the discussion. Coms.N B Durgad, ACS, B R Chimmalagi, District President and H B Naik, District Secretary spoke on behalf of the hosting branch. The meeting decided to make all the programme of action for pension revision, a grand success. Com.C.Anniger, Circle Treasurer proposed vote of thanks.

As per decision of the CEC of AIBDPA, District leaders of AIBDPA, Kozhikode met Members of Parliament , Shri M.P. Veerendra Kumar and Com. Elamaram Kareem and presented Memorandum to be submitted to Prime Minister on Pension Revision and requested them to take up the matter with the Prime Minister for early settlement. The demand is that the govt should immediately ensure Pension Revision wef from 01.01.2017 to BSNL retirees with 15 % fitment, as the maximum recommended by the III Pay Revision Committe.
Though Shri Veerendra Kumar was not well and was undergoing treatment, he met the delegation, received memorandum, read it and assured that he will take up the matter with central govt.
Com.Elamaram Kareem M.P.was very busy with attending meetings in connection with the agitation against CAA, but still he graciously met us near the meeting place, received the Memorandum, enquired details and assured the delegation that he will take up the matter with government.
Coms. V.A.N.Namboodiri, Advisor AIBDPA, Chandran, Dist President, Balan Punnassery, M.K.Prabhakaran, K.G.Sanjeevan and Rajagopalan consisted the AIBDPA delegation.

ANOTHER ISSUE SETTLED- BSNL ISSUED ORDER FOR PROVIDING SIM IN TECHNICALLY NON FEASIBLE AREAS.

AIBDPA had taken up the issue with BSNL management  of providing free/concessional mobile connection to retired BSNL and DOT employees whereever residential land   line connection could not be provided due to technical non-feasibility, particularly after closure WLL exchanges. After continuous discussions and persuations, now BSNL has issued the order;
