A delegation of Cuddalore Comrades , S Muthukumarasamy, ACS, I M Mathiyalagan, District Secretary, N Mehnsnathan, District President, N Murthy, Branch Secretary, Cuddalore, S P Rajendran, Branch Secretary, Villupuram, N R Paanjanathan, Branch President, Villupuram and N Devar, Vice President, Villupuram met Shri.D Ravikumar, MP (Loka Sabha), Villupuram and handed over copy of the memorandum

Apart from the District Secretary, the delgation included Coms. M Venkata Reddy, District Secretary, BSNLEU, G.Ramagopal, T Venkateswarlu, B Polaiah and L Venkat Rao. The MP welcomed the delegation very cordially and assured all the possible help for early settlement of pension revision.

Gujarat is surging ahead under the dynamic leadership of Com.M B Chaniyara, Circle Secretary and CHQ Organising Secretary. Another district branch, Surat, has been formed in a well attended meeting held at Surat on 22-01-2020. Com.C U Dwivedi, District Secretary ,BSNLEU presided and welcomed all the participants.

Com.M B Chaniyara inaugurated the meeting and explained the issues of the pensioners and functioning of AIBDPA. The four phased agitational program for pension revision decided by the Guwahati CEC also was briefed in the inaugural address. Coms.Salim A Hafije, District President, BSNLEU, A J Gosai, District Secretary, Vadodara and V S Saraia, ACS also addressed.

Coms.R G Bhandari, Circle Vice President, Gopalakrishna, District President, Basavaraj, District Secretary, Mahathmasamy, Mani, Ramakrishna and Noel Parker were in the delegation of Mysore District who met the Loka Sabha MP Shri. Pratap Sinha on 22-01-2020. The MP received the memorandum and promised that he will take up the issue with the government. 

A delegation led by Coms.R A Nair, CHQ Treasurer& Circle President, N Sasidharan Nair, District Secretary, M D Rajan, Circle Organising Secretary,  K Sukumaran Nair, District President and Joseph Thobias, Area President ,Kollam have met Shri.N K Premachandran MP, Kollam on 22-01-2020 and discussed briefly the issue of pension revision of BSNL absorbed retirees, due from 01-01-2017. The delegation also handed over a copy of the memorandum being submitted to the Prime Minister. The MP assured the delgation that he will take up the issue with the central government.

Com.K N Gopinath, State Secretary, CITU came down heavily on the pro corporate policy of Modi government which is making the life more and more miserable for the common people. He was inaugurating the District Convention at KG Bose Bhawan, Ernakulam on 21-01-2020. He  also severely criticized Modi-Amit Shah duo for implementing RSS agenda in the country and the CAA is part of it to divide and discriminate the people in the name of religion. 

Com.N Guruprasad, Circle Secretary delivered the keynote address and explained the decisions of Guwahati CEC including the agitational programme being launched for pension revision. Com. P A Kumaran, District President controlled the proceedings. Com.N P Peter, District Secretary welcomed the participants and presented the report. Coms.A V Kuriakose, former Circle President, BSNLEU, P S Peethambaran, District President, BSNLEU, P A Babu, District Secretary, BSNLEU and K.Padmanabhan, Circle Organising Secretary addressed. Com.P. Janardhanan proposed vote of thanks.

A 15 member delegation of Kurnool District led by Coms. M Yacob, Circle President, M Rangiah, Shaik Sattar, P maduletty, D Venkatarami Reddy and G Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy met Dr.Sanjeev Kumar, Loka Sabha MP from Kurnool and handed over copy of the memorandum to the Prime Minister for pension revision on 21-01-2020. Dr.Sanjeev Kumar welcomed the delegation cordially and assured all possible measures on his part.

Memorandum on pension revision to be submitted to the Prime Minister was handed over to Shri. Jose K Mani, Rajya Sabha Member on 21-01-2020 at his residence in Palai by the Kottayam Comrades led by P R Mohanan, Asst Circle Secreatry, V C Lukose, Circle Organising Secretary, C R Ponnappan, District Secretary, K E Abraham, District President , K P Pankajakshan, , Parameswaran, C N Rajendran and Balachandran. Shri.Jose K Mani assured prompt action on the issue.

Our Hubli Comrades led by Coms.G G Patil, Former AGS, A D Kulkarni, District Secretary, L G Doddagoudar and R Y Shalgar have met Shri.Prahlad Joshi, Hon’ble Minister for Parliamentary Affairs and MP from Hubli on 21-01-2020. They apprised him about the present position of pension revision and handed over the copy of memorandum to the Prime Minister. The Minister assured all possible action on his part on the issue.

Thiruvananthapuram Comrades led by Com.R.Muraleedharan Nair, AGS have met Shri.Sasi Tharoor MP and discussed the issue of pension revision of BSNL absorbed retirees and handed over the copy of memorandum to be submitted to the Prime Minister. The MP assured necessarry action on the matter. Coms. R R Warier,ACS, G.Raveendran Nair, Circle Vice President, N Vikraman Nair, District President, C Ramachandran, District Secretary and  K P Prathapachandran Nair, District Treasurer were the other members in the delegation.
