The Parliament March on 12th March called for by AIBDPA demanding Pension Revision for BSNL Pensioners w.e.f. 01-01-2017 has been deferred due to the tense and complicated situation in Delhi. AIBDPA calls upon all our units to organize massive demonstrations on the same date in front of the District / Circle authorities. Maximum participation is to be ensured.

Those districts/circles that have not yet met the M.P.s in their area are requested to meet them urgently and present the memorandum as directed earlier and send the report and photo to CHQ so that the same can be posted in the website.

March to Parliament on 12th March 2020 by AIBDPA Deferred.

It is informed that the March to Parliament on 12th March 2020 called by AIBDPA on the demand of Pension Revision for BSNL pensioners w.e.f.  01-01-2017 has been deferred due to the abnormal situation in Delhi and the country due to the Corona Virus attack.  The decision has been taken in consultation with available office bearers and circle secretaries.

All the circles have taken great initiative to bring hundreds of comrades to Delhi and all arrangements have been made including reservation of accommodation etc. But since the situation is tense and complicated, the CHQ is compelled to defer the programme, for which comrades all over India have taken great pains to make it a success. Though the March is deferred for the present, all are requested to continue with other programmes like with meeting the M.P.s , signature campaign etc.

Future programmes will be decided later.

MARCH TO PARLIAMENT ON 12 MARCH BY AIBDPA

AIBDPA agitational programmes on the demand of Pension Revision for BSNL retirees wef 01-01-2017 are being implemented effectively and sincerely by the pensioners all over India. About two weeks back, about 100 M.P.s have been met by the District / Circle secretaries of AIBDPA through out the country. Since then two or three M.P.s are being met every day by our comrades. In Delhi itself our General Secretary Com. K.G.Jayaraj along with leaders in Delhi has met some of the M.P.s and presented Memorandum with the request to raise it in the Parliament and with the government.

The next programme is March to Parliament on 12th March 2020, for which thousands of pensioners have already booked ticket to Delhi and will participate in the march.

The payment of Provisional Pension to all the VRS retirees in the first month itself as demanded by AIBDPA, due to the impossibility of finalising the pension papers and paying pension for 78569 VRS pensioners in addition to the usual superannuation pensioners, has given confidence and faith to the VRS pensioners in AIBDPA. Thousands of VRS pensioners have already joined AIBDPA in all the circles. They have understood that it is the organisation which will continuously fight on the just demands of the pensioners.

The meeting with the Member (Finance ), DOT by General Secretary, AIBDPA, Com. K.G.Jayaraj and the issues raised about ensuring regular pension and pension revision to VRS pensioners have created further confidence in the minds of the concerned pensioners. Many of these comrades are participating in the Parliament March.

LET US MAKE THE PARLIAMENT MARCH A BIG SUCCESS!
