YET ANOTHER FUTILE DRAMA

The discussion of the Central Ministerial Committee consisting Shri.A.K.Antony,Sarad Pawar and Mallikarjun Kharg with the Central Trade Union leaders to avert two days strike on 20,21 February failed today as the Ministers refused to concede even one of the ten demands.
Instead, the Ministers simply wanted more time to consider the demands. The trade union leaders told them that the demands are nothing new but put forward before three years and there is no justification for more time.
This was only a drama of the government to create some confusion among the unions which has been effectively thwarted by the Central Trade Unions unitedly.

TOWARDS THE 48 HRS HISTORIC STRIKE

The working class in the country is all set to launch the two days STRIKE on 20,21 February,2013.
The decision for the Strike was taken in the mammoth convention held on 4th September,2012 in New Delhi by all the eleven Central Trade Unions, including INTUC,BMS,CITU,AITUC,HMS,UTUC etc.

This will be the 15th National Strike since the neo liberal economic policies started implimenting in 1991.The central government, this time, called the central trade unions for a discussion by the Labour Minister and made it a farce, not conceding any of the 10 demands.
In BSNL 13 unions, both non executive and executive have given the strike notice and as such the strike will be complete in every respect. And same is the case with other sectors.
AIBDPA and NCCPA have extended full.support to the historic strike and will organise solidarity action, according to local conditions.

Is it the government of scams

Yet another scam has come to the fore. This time,it is a scam of chopper deal of Rs.3600 crore for the purchase of 12 three engine AW101 Helicopters. After the Bofors during Rajiv Ghandhi regime, this is the second scam involving an Italian company.
The scam has been exposed with the arrest of Giuseppe Orsi, the head of the Italian Defence and Aerospace Giant,Finmeccanica. The dean was signed with Finmeccanica’s subsidiary AugstaWestland in 2010 and Italian prosecutors suspect that around Rs.362 crore,10 per cent of the contracted amount, were ploughed back as kickbacks to ensure AugustaWestland won the contract.
How many scams during the regime of Manmohan Singh! Can anybdy count,
2G scam,Coalgate scam,Adarsh Flat scam,Commonwealth Games Scam,Chopper scam and what next!
