THE MASS DHARNA WOULD HAVE MORE SIGNIFICANCE IN THE WAKE
OF THE UNWARRANTED AND DISCRIMINATORY CLARIFICATION SENT
TO DOT BY BSNL,VIRTUALLY DENYING THE BENIFIT OF 78.2%
FIXATION TO THE PENSIONERS.APART FROM THIS VITAL ISSUE,THE
OTHER 22 POINT CHARTER OF DEMANDS ALSO HAVE TO BE FOCUSSED.
IN THE DHARNA.
LET THE PROTEST AND ANGER AGAINST THE NEGATIVE AND LETHERGIC
ATTITUDE OF THE GOVERNMENT AND THE AUTHORITIES REFLECT IN THE
DHARNA.
COMRADES,THERE IS NOTHING TO BE PANIC.

Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has warned that phone
connections of banks,insurance companies and realestate firms will
be disconnected in case unwanted calls and SMSs are received by
customers on their behalf by unregistered telemarketers.
According to the new. Regulations-The Telecom Commercial Communications
Customer. Preference (Thirteenth Amendment ) Regulations 2013-telecom
service providers will also be liable to pay a fine of Rs.5000
per complaint,if their network is being utilised to send an unsolicited
commercial call or SMS.

Rupee has hit a new low at Rs.65.56 to the dollar,virtually putting
the government and Reserve Bank by surprise.
The central government and RBI are not able to give any satisfactory
explanation for the continuing depreciation of the rupee.

In reply to the DOT’s letter,BSNL vide No.1-9/2012-)PAT(BSNL) dated
08-08-2013 has stated’since 78.2% IDA fixation,,orders are only effective
from 10-06-2013,the issue of pay revision,notional or otherwise of those
employees ,who retired between 01-01-2007 and 09-06-2013 does
not arise’.
THIS IS MOST RIDICULOUS,DISCRIMINATORY , UNWARRANTED
AND VIOLATION OF AGREEMENT ON 12 -06-2012. AND ALSO
AGAINST THE SPIRIT OF THE ORDER DATED 10-06-2013
This letter should be withdrawn immediately.
It is worth mentioning here that there was a sentence in the
agreement dated 12-06-2012 that”this will be applicable to the
Pensioners”.And the same BSNL management now says pensioners
are not eligible!
DOT SHOULD IGNORE THIS LETTER AND INITIATE IMMEDIATE ACTION
TO. ISSUE ORDERS ON. 78.2% IDA. FIXATION TO BOTH PRE 2007 AND
POST 2007. PENSIONERS.
LET US PROTEST AGAINST THIS INJUSTICE AND ALL AIBDPA UNITS ARE
REQUESTED TO MAKE FULL PREPARATION FOR THE MASS DHARNA ON
29TH AUGUST,2013 AT CIRCLE/DISTRICT LEVEL MOBILISING MAXIMUM
PENSIONERS.

The biennial District Confrence of Madurai has been held in a
befitting manner at Madurai on 12th August,2013.

Com.K.G.Jayaraj,General Secretary has today talked to Shri.Prachish Khanna
Director(Estt),DOT who said that the letter from BSNL regarding 78.2% IDA
fixation has not reached DOT.
Shri.R.K.Goyal,GM(Estt),BSNL had assured on 7th August to the delegation of
BSNLEU & AIBDPA delegation that the clarification sought by DOT will be sent
to DOT on 8th August itself
It is hardly 1km from the BSNL Corporate office to DOT.May be due to the
intervening holidays that the delay. Has occured.
