The first agitation of the four phased program of BSNLCCWF to achieve their genuine demands is being held on 26th August, 2014; District level DHARNA all over the country. CHQ once again calls upon all the AIBDPA Units to support the agitation in solidarity. 

The extended district executive committee meeting of Vellore has decided to host the 3rd biennial Circle Conference of AIBDPA, Tamilnadu at Vellore, probably on the 3rd week of December, 2014. Com. V. Ezhumalai, District President presided over the meeting. Com. Jothisudanthiranathan, District Secretary welcomed the gathering. Com.S. Mohandoss, CHQ Vice President and Circle President, Com. C. K. Narasimhan, Circle Secretary, Com. R. Anbazhagan, Circle Organising Secretary and Com. C. Gnanasekharan, District Secretary, BSNLEU addressed the meeting. It was also decided to form the Reception Committee for the successful conduct of the conference on 4th September in the meeting being convened for this purpose.

K.G.JAYARAJ, GENERAL SECRETARY THAT THEY WILL DISCUSS AND DO THE NEEDFUL ON MONDAY, THE 25TH AUGUST, 2014. 

A big convention was organized jointly by the District Branches of BSNLEU, AIBDPA and CGPA at K.G. Bose Mandiram, Kollam on today, the 22nd August, 2014. The occasion was the launching of District level release of the book, “P&T Trade Union Movement in Kerala “,authored by Com. P. V. Chandrasekharan, All India Patron and Circle President, AIBDPA.

Com K. G. Jayaraj, General Secretary inaugurated the convention and formally released the book. Com. R. Aravindakshan Nair, Circle Vice President and District President, AIBDPA controlled the proceedings. Com. C. C. Pillai, former Secretary General, NFPE and All India Patron, All India Postal & RMS Pensioners Association participated as the Chief Guest. Com. N. C. Pillai, AGS, AIPRPA introduced the book. Com. N. Ramesan, Circle Secretary, AIBDPA, Com. Ajayan, District Secretary, Confederation, Com. V. Sasidharan, District Secretary, CGPA and Com. L. Krishnakumari, Circle Vice President, AIBDPA addressed the convention. Com. C. Muraleedharan Pillai, District Secretary, BSNLEU delivered the welcome address and Com. M. D. Rajan, District Secretary, AIBDPA proposed vote of thanks.

A large meeting was held at PGM office, Pune on 20th August, 2014, participated by more than 400 BSNL employees, Casual and Contract workers and pensioners. Com.V. A. N. Namboodiri, President, BSNLEU & CCWF and Advisor, AIBDPA inaugurated the meeting. Com Appa Saheb Gagare, Circle President,  BSNLEU presided. Com. Nagesh Nalwade, Circle Secretary, BSNLEU, Maharashtra welcomed all the participants. Com. Ganesh Mathpati, Circle President, BSNLCCWF, Com. B. P. Petkar, AGS & Circle Secretary, AIBDPA, Com. John Varghese, Organising Secretary, BSNLEU and other leaders addressed the meeting.

After the joint meeting, the pensioners meeting was also held and AIBDPA ,Pune Branch was formed.

A powerful and massive demonstration was organized at the BSNL Corporate office, New Delhi on today, the 21st August, 2014 in protest against the anti-BSNL Deolittee Committee report. The protest action by the Forum of BSNL Unions/Associations was addressed by Com. V. A. N. Namboodiri, Convenor, Com. C. Singh, General Secretary, NFTE, Com. K. Sebastian, General Secretary, SNEA and other leaders. The demonstration was held while the meeting of Heads of Circles is being held on 21st & 22nd August, 2014 . In other parts of the country, the demonstration had taken place on 12th August, 2014 with huge participation of workers and pensioners.

Com. S. Mohandoss, CHQ Vice President and Circle President, Tamilnadu inaugurated the Kanyakumari District Conference at Nagercoil on 19th August, 2014. Com.Sahulhameed, DIstrict President presided. Com. C. K. Narasimhan, Circle Secretary and Com. K. Kaliprasad, CHQ Organising Secretary addressed the Conference. Com. Meenakshisundaram, District Secretary presented the biennial report and accounts and were adopted after discussion.
