A well participated Seminar was held at GMT office, Siliguri on 25th September, 2014. Com.Bipul Chakraborty  District Presidet presided . Com. R. K. Yadav, District Secretary and Asst Circle Secretary presented the 29 demands in detail and appealed to make the Sanchar Bhawan March on 20th November a grand success. North Bengal District Branch of CORTO was represented and both President Com.S. L. Nandi and Secretary Com.K. N. Karji also addressed the seminar.

After the Seminar a memorandum containing some of the issues of the pensioners was submitted to the GMT by a delegation of leaders.
