New Delhi-12th June 2015
Dr. Bibek Debroy Committee Report is a clear roadmap for privatization of Indian Railways. This was stated here by Shri Shiva Gopal Mishra, General Secretary of All India Railwaymen’s Federation (AIRF).
Shri Mishra further stated that the suggestions given by the Committee will endanger the Railway Safety and It will also increase financial burden on Indian Railways. The Report is quite unworkable and will be against 95 percent of Rail users of this country, who travels in general & sleeper classes.
Shri Mishra further hoped that keeping in mind its wider ramifications particularly on the comman man , government may not implement it.
Shri Shiva Gopal Mishra further mentioned that AIRF has decided to organize 23rd June to 30th June , 2015 as campaign week. AIRF has also given Clarion call to organize Black Day on 30th June 2015 throughout Indian Railway by wearing black badge and organizing Mass Meetings in the Ist phase of its agitation. In 2nd phase Rail users will also be involved and the movement will be made “ Jan Andolan”. (Courtesy: AIRF)

60 : 40 ISSUE CONNECTED WITH PENSION PAYMENT OF BSNL RETIREES.
As per an RTI received, the pension payment of BSNL retirees was less than 60% of the various payments like dividend, tax etc.paid by BSNL to DOT till the financial year 2009-2010. From 2010-11 onwards, the pensions payment is more than 60% of the payments made by BSNL.
This is one of the reasons why the DOT was delaying the preparation of the Cabinet note on 78.2% IDA pension fixation. However, now the cabinet note is prepared and is being forwarded to the nodal departments for approval, after which the same will be submitted to Cabinet.
AIBDPA has taken up this issue with the Communications Minister and also with the 7th Central Pay Commission for early cancellation of the unjustified order of DOT dated 15-06-2006, stipulating the condition of 60 : 40.

6. Permanent Account Number for Income Tax (PAN)

8. Mobile No. (if Available)
9. E-Mail ID (if Available)
1:1 order to have smooth implementation of Digital India Mission and Jeevan Prarnaan initiatives, it is imperative to mention the Aadhaar numbers in PPO Booklet.
It has been observed that the Aadhaar number is not being mentioned in most of the PPOs received from different Pay & Accounts Offices.
In view of the above, all Pr. CCAs/CCAs/CAs having independent charge are requested to instruct their PAOs to ensure that Aadhaar number and other details added through Correction Slip No.5 in CAM-52 are invariably mentioned in the PPOs issued by them.

HSBC TO RETRENCH 50,000 EMPLOYEES, MAINLY IN BRAZIL AND TURKEY.
HSBC, probably the biggest financial institution in the world, is proposing to reduce its employees by about 50,000. This is mainly due its closure of branches in Brazil and Turkey. It has got more than 2.66 lakh workers in its roll.
This is the system of the private companies. Wherever they get profits they do business. When there is loss, they close up and go elsewhere. What will happen to the workers is no concern of these MNCs.
Why MNCs alone? Now, the NDA government is going to bring a bill changing the labour laws through which any private company with less than 500 workers can do ‘hire and fire’ without any intervention from the government. The Modi government has become the saviour of the private capital and the workers are no concern to them.
It is only through united and sustained struggles that the workers can exist and advance. That is what history has taught us.
BEWARE OF CHEATS-DON’T DICLOSE BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER ETC TO ANYBODY- COPY OF LETTER RECEIVED.
Dear GS, Namaste.Hope you are well.
