UNION LEADERS SUSPENDED ENMASSE IN KERALA CIRCLE- BSNLEU, SNEA & BSNLCCWF TO START HUNGER STRIKE AT CORPORATE OFFICE.

The struggle in Kerala by the BSNLCCLU for wage revision was settled on 20th August, 2015 consequent on an agreement reached with the union leaders of BSNLEU, SNEA & BSNLCCLU in the negotiation talk by the BSNL administration headed by Shri. N. K. Gupta, Director (CFA) specially deputed by CMD. It was also assured by the BSNL administration that Shri. M.S. S. Rao, CGMT ,Kerala who was instrumental in worsening the situation in Kerala, will be shunted out of Kerala. However contrary to the assurance Shri. M. S. S Rao ,who was instructed to go on leave, joined before expiry of leave and started provocative measures particularly filing false police cases and even approached Kerala high court to implicate union leaders in serious criminal cases. Not satisfied with these, on 11-09-2015 ,he ordered suspension of 15 union leaders of BSNLEU & SNEA including Com. K. Mohan, Circle Secretary, Com.S.Prathapkumar, Asst. General Secretary, Com.P.Gopakumar, Circle Vice President, Com.C. Santhoshkumar, Asst.Circle Secretary, Com.Biju Raghavan, District Secretary, BSNLEU , Com. T. Santhoshkumar, District Secretary and Com. Narendrakumar, District President, SNEA.

This high handed and most provocative action of Mr.M.S.S.Rao with the ulterior motive of scuttling the agreement reached in his absence and to further worsen the situation has compelled the workers to retaliate. Protest actions are being held through out Kerala and the central leadership of  BSNLEU, SNEA and BSNLCCWF have decided for an indefinite relay hunger fast from 17th September, 2015 in front of BSNL Corporate office and also Protest Demonstration at Circle and SSA levels demanding immediate transfer of Mr.M.S.S.Rao from Kerala.

AIBDPA strongly condemn the vindictive and provocative actions in Kerala and calls upon all its units to join the comrades of BSNLEU,SNEA & BSNLCCWF  to participate in the protest programs.

It has been the constant endeavor of the Income-tax Department to make compliance simpler for the taxpayer through the use of technology. E-filing of returns, refund banker scheme and the newly introduced e-verification of Income-tax returns for the Assessment year 2015-16 are some of the key initiatives undertaken by the Department for making filing of returns simple and easy for the common taxpayer.

The Income Tax Department would like to acknowledge and thank the taxpayer for the widespread support for its e-Governance initiatives.

The taxpayers have come forward in greater numbers for e-filing of returns in the current year.
