The biennial Circle Conference of North East I was held at Shillong on 30th September, 2015. The subject Committee meeting was started at 1030 AM under the presidentship of K.W.R.Nongrum, Circle President. Com.Hirak Chakraborty, Circle Secretary presented the report and so also the audited accounts by the Treasurer, Com.N.G.Paul. 5 comrades participated in the discussion and after reply by the Circle Secretary,the report and accounts were adopted.The conference decided to form a district branch at Mizoram.

The open session was held at 1245 PM and participating as the Chief Guest, Com.Swapan Chakraborty, Deputy General Secretary spoke elaborately exposing thoroughly the anti-people and anti-worker policies of Narendra Modi government against which 15 crore workers struck work on 2 September,2015.Com.M.R.Das, AGS,AIBDPA spoke on organisational issues and problems of the pensioners.Coms S.N.Sarma, Circle Secretary, Assam and P.K.Bhattacharjee, ACS, Assam also addressed.

Office bearers were elected unanimously with the following important posts.
