FOUNDATION DAY CELEBRATION BY BURDWAN DISTRICT.

Burdwan District Branch has observed Foundation Day of AIBDPA on 21.10.2016 by conducting a General Body meeting  at Burdwan Telephone Exchange, W.B. Com. Md. Yunus, President, has hoisted the Flag and presided over the meeting. Com. Shyama Pada Ray, Dist. Secy AIBDPA addressed in the meeting narrating the history of the formation of AIBDPA and concerted efforts of our beloved association for achievement of our demands under our present leadership.

Com.S.S.Mondal, Com. J Ghosh, Com.Subhash Shee, Com.M. Kundu, Com.A. Mukherjee have also addressed in the meeting.

KERALA CIRCLE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING HELD AT THIRUVANANTHAPURAM ON 21-10-2016.

The Circle Executive Committee meeting of Kerala was held at P&T House, Thiruvananthapuram on 21-10-2016. Com.K.G.Jayaraj, General Secretary inaugurated the meeting. Com, R.Aravindakshan Nair, Circle President presided. Com.P.V.Chanddrasekharan, CHQ Patron addressed.

The draft report and audited accounts for the ensuing Circle Conference at Thrissur on 1,2 November, 2016 were presented by Coms.N.Guruprasad, Circle Secretary  and K.J.Sanalkumar, Treasurer respectively. After discussion both report and accounts were adopted with slight modifications.

FOUNDATION DAY AT VELLORE, TAMIL NADU ON 21-10-2016

AIBDPA FOUNDATION CELEBRATED AT VELLORE. COM.JOTHISUDANTHIRANATHAN, DISTRICT SECRETARY ADDRESSED. 40 CHILDREN BOTH MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY DISABLED WERE SERVED FOOD. WELL DONE VELLORE COMRADES, CONGRATULATIONS FOR THE IDEAL AND NOBLE GESTURE.

7th FOUNDATION DAY CELEBRATED THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY ON 21-10-2016.

Com.K.G.Jayaraj hoisted the flag at P & T House, Thiruvananthapuram at 10 AM on 21-10-2016. He also spoke briefly highlighting the formation and growth of the organisation as a mighty fighting pensioners association which enabled it to achieve significant gains including 78.2% IDA merger along with annulment of 60:40 condition. He appealed to strengthen AIBDPA further at all level to meet the challenges before us.

It was on 21st October 2009 that All India BSNL DOT Pensioners Association was formed at a grand nATIONAL Convention held at Gharwal Bhawan, New Delhi. It was inaugurated by  veteran Trade Union leader Com.M.K.Pandhe, President of CITU. During the last seven years AIBDPA has become stronger and has taken up and settled many issues of the pensioners. It continues to be the champion of the DOT and BSNL Pensioners. It is part of the National Co-Ordinating Committee of Pensioners’ Association and also the Trade Union International (Pensioners and Retirees).

Dear Sir

We refer to our letter of even No.NC/JCM/2016 dated September 6, 2016 wherein we have requested for an amendment to the existing formula of DA computation, necessitated by the revision of Pay with effect from 01.01.2016. We hope that you must have caused the matter to be examined.

We are prepared to call on the officer concerned, if there is any ambiguity in our contention. Since the normal date for issuance of DA order was in September, we shall he grateful if a decision in the matter is taken urgently.

KOZHIKODE DISTRICT CONFERENCE HELD ENTHUSIASTICALLY.

The 4th biennial conference of Kozhikode district has been held at Com.M.P.Kunhanandan Nagar ( Nalanda Auditorium ), Kozhikode on 19-10-2016. The open session was inaugurated by Com.Thottathil Ravindran, Kozhikode Mayor. Com.K.Prabhakaran, District President presided. Coms. N.Guruprasad, Circle Secretary, A.V.Viswanathan (AIPRPA), M.Vijayakumar & K.V.Jayarajan (BSNLEU), P. Kunhiraman (CGPA) K.Damodaran, ACS, Balan Punnassery, Circle Org Secretary addressed. Com.K.G.Sanjeevan, District Secretary welcomed and Com.K.Sarojini, Circle Vice President proposed vote of thanks.

Com.K.G.Sanjeevan, District Secretary and Com.M.K.Prabhakaran, Treasurer presented the biennial report and audited accounts in the subject session and were adopted after discussion.

Office bearers have been elected unanimously with Com.M.P.Velayudhan (President), Com.P.V.Chandrasekharan (District Secretary) and Com.M.K.Prabhakaran (Treasurer) 

MALAPPURAM DISTRICT CONFERENCE HELD SUCCESSFULLY.

The 4th Biennial District Conference of Malappuram, Kerala was held on 18-10-2016 at NGO Union hall, Malappuram. Com.P.K.Muraleedharan, Circle Convener, NFPE inaugurated the conference with an effective speech covering the current developments. Com.P.T.M.A.Jaleel, District President presided. Coms. N.Guruprasad, Circle Secretary, M.K.Prabhakaran (BSNLEU) and Chellappan (AIPRPA) addressed.

The biennial report and audited accounts presented by Coms. P.M.Madhavan, District Secretary and P.Ramachandran, Treasurer were adopted after discussion.
