BSNLEU and BSNLCCWF have decided to organise massive dharnas at the Corporate Office, as well as in the circle head quarters on 16.07.2019, demanding the Management to immediately clear the payment of wage arrears of the contract workers, and also to demand the withdrawal of the Corporate Office instructions, for retrenching the contract workers. All circle unions of BSNLEU are requested to take all out steps to ensure that this dharna is conducted massively in all circle head quarters. Circle and District secretaries of BSNLEU are requested to coordinate with the contract workers’ union (BSNLCCWF) to ensure large scale participation of the contract workers also in the dharna.

Vadodara District Branch has held it biennial conference on 08-06-2019 under presidentship of senior leader Com.M Z Khan. Com.A J Gosai, District Secretary welcomed the participants. Inaugurating the conference, Com. V S Saraiya, Asst Circle Secretary explained the current issues confronting the pensioners. A host of leaders, including,Coms.R C Patel, Circle Vice President, H J Pal, District President, S B Vasava, Circle Organising Secretary and BSNLEU leaders greeted the conference.

The biennial report and audited accounts presented by the District Secretary and Treasurer, respectively, were adopted after discussion.

Veteran Leader Com.N T Sajwani passed away at Bhopal on 29-06-2019. He was one of the  tall leaders of  telecom movement and served  as Secretary General, NFTE and was Circle Secretary,E III, Madhya Pradesh for a long period. The historic Bhopal All India Conference of E III in 1991 was held under his guidence as General Convenor, Reception Committee.

He was a well wisher of AIBDPA and had addressed the Circle Executive Committee Meeting of M P held at Bhopal on 09-09-2018.

AIBDPA pays respectful homage to Com. N T Sajwani and conveys heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.

As per consumer price index released by Labour Bureau there will be an increase of 5.3 % IDA from July, 2019. The total IDA now is 141.4+5.3= 146.7 %. The order will be issued shortly.

All the leaders delivered informative and inspiring speeches on pension revision, pay revision and the present situation in BSNL.

Bhuswal Area Branch conference has been held successfully on 11-06-2019. Com.R N Patil, Circle Secretary inaugurated with a detailed speech on the current issues of pensioners and the crisis being faced by BSNL.

The well attended biennial District Conference of Raigad was held at Mangaon on 08-06-2019. Com. R N Patil, Circel Secretary inaugurated with deatiled speech on pensioners issues and the revival of BSNL. Com.Ghadigankar, ACS also addressed the conference.

Coms. A J Gharat, Sampat Gadve and S A Dudskar have been elected unanimously as President, District Secretary and Treasurer, respectively.

Following the letter written by BSNL Management, to the Department of Telecommunications on 17.06.2019, much is being talked about the future of BSNL. Many mischievous write-ups are also appearing in the media. A write-up appeared in today’s India Today, has gone to the extent of advising BSNL customers to migrate to other private operators. Hence, with the view to clear the confusions, BSNLEU has issued the following press statement.

A new Branch has been formed at Theni under the District Branch of Madurai. The meeting held for this purpose was held on 22-06-2019 under the presidentship of Com. John Borsier, District President. Com.A.Manuel Paulraj, District Secretary welcomed all and spoke on the necessity to form the branch.

BSNLEU leaders, Coms. T K Srinivasan(District President) N Muthurethinam (District Vice President) and G.Rajkumar (Theni Branch Secretary) and a host of leaders greeted the meeting.

The 5th biennial District Conference of Trichy has been held at Com.A.Chandrasekhar Memorial Hall, Arun Hotel, Trichy on 17-06-2019. Com.P.Krishnan, District President presided over the conference. Com.John Pasha, District Secretary welcomed the gathering. 

Com.C K Narasimhan, Circle Secretary inaugurated the conference with special mention to the Circle Conference being held at Coimbatore, the present critical position of BSNL and the struggles to be lauched for the settlement of important issues including pension revision.
