A 15 member Jamnagar Comrades under the leadership of Com.M B Chaniyara visited the MP’s office on 29-01-2020 as per prior appointment. However Smt.Poonamben could not be present and her PA was authorised to receive the letter and copy of memorandum being submitted to the Prime Minister. Accordingly the delegation handed over the same to Shri.Rachha who promised prompt action on the issue. Other prominent members of the delgation were Coms.N N Kaneria, District Secretary,J M Vays, Asst District Secretary, V D Dhamsania, R A Mehta, J H Pandya, M Rehman and A R Godhani.
Smt. Manjulata Mandal, MP(Loka Sabha) Bhdrak accepted the letter and copy of memorandum being submitted to the Prime Minister on pension revision and assured AIBDPA delegation that she will definitely take up the issue with government. Subject: Eligibility of Permanently Disabled Son of a CGHS Beneficiary to avail CGHS facility.
In terms of the Office Memorandum of even number dated 07.05.2018, unmarried permanently disabled and financially dependent sons of CGHS beneficiary suffering 40% or more of one or more disabilities as specified in the D.M. will continue to avail CGHS facility even after attaining the age of 25 years. However, the son above the age of 25 years, in cases where disability has occurred after attaining the age of 25 years, is at present not considered as dependent for availing medical facilities under CGHS as per extant policy.
The matter has been engaging the attention of this Ministry for quite some past. It has now been decided that such son(s) above 25 years, in cases where the disability has occurred after attaining the age of 25 years can be considered as dependent for availing medical facilities under CGHS, subject to fulfillment of all other conditions as mentioned in the G.M. dated 07.05.2018.
This issues with the approval of Competent Authority.
It is now decided to notify CGHS package rates for the following investigations which were not available and now included in CGHS rate list 2020

Subject:-Notification of CGHS Rates for 15 Investigations under CGHS
With reference to the above mentioned subject the undersigned is directed to draw attention to the Office memorandum No S. 11045/36/2012-CGHS(HEC) dated 01,10.2014 vide which CGHS package rates for various treatment procedures and investigations were notified by the Government for Health Care Organizations (HCOs) empanelled under CGHS and to state that representations from various stake holders regarding non-availability of CGHS rates for some of the investigations have been received in this Ministry. The matter was reviewed and it is now decided to notify CGHS package rates for the following investigations and their inclusion in CGHS rate list as under:
The rates for investigations from S. No. 1 to S. No. 13 are for Non-NABL/Non-NABH accredited HCOs. The rates for NABL/ NABH accredited HCOs shall be 15% more. The rates from S. No. 14 & 15 shall be common for both NABH-accredited/Non-NABH accredited HCOs.
These rates shall come into force from the date of issue of the letter.
This issues with concurrence of Integrated Finance Division of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare vide CD No 3495 dated: 13.01.2020.

The delegation handed over a letter and copy of memorandum being submitted to the Prime Minister. Shri A K Antony assured the delegation appropriate action on the issue. Alappuzha District Convention has been held at BSNLEU Hall, Alappuzha on 28-01-2020. Com. K P Kesavan Nair, District President presided over the convention. Com.P Surendran, District Secretary welcomed one and all and mentioned about the purpose of the convention.
Inaugurating the convention, Com.K G Jayaraj, General Secretary explained the serious consequences of CRR,NRC and NPR and need to resist the nefarious game of the government. General Secretary also gave a good account of developments taking place in BSNL, including large number of VRS, non-allotment of 4G spectrum to BSNL even after three months of declaration of revival package, Guwahati CEC decisions and necessity to implement the agitations successfully.
Coms.P R Shajimon, District Secretary, BSNLEU and P Sasidharan, Circle Organising Secretary also addressed. Com.T Sobhanan, Area Secretary proposed vote of thanks.
A six member delegation of Bongagaon District led by Coms.D C Paul, Distrct Secretary and Bijoy Thakur, District President, BSNLEU have met Shri.Abdul Khaleque, MP(LS), Barpeta, Assam on 28-01-2020. They handed over a letter on pension revision and a copy of memorandum being submitted to the Prime Minister. The MP shared his concern over the future of BSNL and assured necessary action for settlement of pension revision.
The district convention was held at KG Bose Bhavan, Palakkad on 28-01-2020. Com.N Guruprasad, Circle Secretary inaugurated with an elaborate speech including current situation in the country, issues of VRS optees and the agitational programme decided by the Guwahati CEC. Com.N Sethumadhavan, District President controlled the proceedings. Veteran leader and Circle Patron Com.V Kesavan, T S Parameswaran (Vice President,NCCPA), V Radhakrishnan(District Secretary,BSNLEU)and P S Raveendranathan(District Secretary,AIPRPA) addressed. Shri. P K Kunhalikutty, Loka Sabha MP from Malappuram has assured necessary action on pension revision of BSNL absorbed retirees. This was stated when our delegation consisting of Coms. M N Madhavan, District Secretary, PTMA Jaleel, District President ,K Sundararajan and T Kunheed met him on 28-01-2020 and gave him a letter and copy of memorandum being submitted to the Prime Minister.
A !5 member delegation led by Coms.N N Patel, Circle President, G B Darji, District Secretary, Bhavasar, J B Chauhan, R N Prajapati, D S Pathan, P B Parmar and J Makwana have met Smt. Sharadaben A Patel, Loka Sabha MP from Mehsana constituency and gave her a letter seeking her intervention for settlement of pension revision. They also handed over a copy of the memorandum being submitted to the Prime Minister. The MP assured the delegation appropriate action.
