Rupee has hit a new low at Rs.65.56 to the dollar,virtually putting
the government and Reserve Bank by surprise.
The central government and RBI are not able to give any satisfactory
explanation for the continuing depreciation of the rupee.
Finance Minister P.Chidambaram was trying desperately to allay
fears of the people stating that there is no cause for panic.
