The district conference of Gulbarga was held at BSNLEU Hall, Gulbarga on 01-03-2015 with maximum participation of the pensioners. Com. Md Hameeduddin, retired CTS presided over the meeting. Com. M.R. Ujalambakar, District Secretary welcomed the gathering. Com. G. G. Patil, inaugurating the conference explained the issues of the pensioners including 78.2% IDA merger and the efforts by CHQ for resolving the issues and the ensuing strike by BSNL employees for revival of BSNL. Com. S. A. Bilagi, Circle Secretary spoke elaborately on organizational issues and appealed to strengthen AIBDPA by enrolling pensioners with life membership and also to subscribe to Tele Pensioner, the CHQ quarterly journal. Com. C. Anni geri, Circle Treasurer also addressed the conference. The conference unanimously elected office bearers with Com. A. Guranna (President) Com. M. R. Ujalambakar (District Secretary) and Com. S. V. Chippalkatti (Treasurer).
