State level convention organized by FCPA of Tripura State held at Agartala (Muktadhara auditorium) on 14-06-26 was very successful.



Around 300 pensioners from the affiliates and non affiliates Associations of FCPA participated in the Convention. The convention was presided over by comrade Nirnoy Sindhu Deb, president of the forum. Convention started with an opening song by the lady pensioners of the forum.
In the initial speech com. Dr. Bhupal Sinha, convenor (Tripura University Pensioners Association, an affiliate Associations of NCCPA ) nicely presented the purpose of the convention touching major issues of Pensioners for which NCCPA / FCPA continuously fighting .
Before the speech of the chief Guest of the Convention Com. D. K. Debnath, Deputy Secretary General of NCCPA, leaders from different Associations / unions present in the Convention in their brief speech narrated many issues affecting the pensioners as well as common people of the country due to the wrong policy of the Govt. Among the speakers Com. Mahua Roy, ( Tripura State Government Employees Coordination committee) Com. Tirthankar Choudhary ( AIBDPA) Com. Badal Baidya, Tripura State Government Pensioners Association, Com. Manik lal Bhattacharjee ( Secy. CGPA) Com. Susuban Dutta Mazumder (SBI Pensioners Association) and Com. Manik lal Dhar (TUPA) are there.
Com. Debnath, in his speech elaborately narrated the major issues of the convention, particularly danger of Validation Act 2025, ToR of 8th CPC, Role of 8th CPC, OPS/ NPS/ UPS, Labour Code, latest position of our Court case on Validation Act. etc. He also narrated the programmes implement in different states at the call of NCCPA/ FCPA . Com. Debnath also spoke on the present political situation of the country seriously effection the trade union activities, serious burden on the common people, price rise etc etc. He also discussed the organisation position of NCCPA/ FCPA and appealed the house to come forward to strengthen our organisation there by threngtgen our joint movement, not only for the cause of Pensioners only, rather to join in the United movement of Confederation of Central Govt Employees, CTU and other mass organisations.
On behalf of CHQ NCCPA/ FCPA extended gratitude to the organizer for organising such convention nicely.
Com. Debnath also informed the house that in the next National Executive meeting of NCCPA and FCPA to be held on 18th and 19th July at Chennai, will decide the next course of Action / programme to be observed to achive our pending demands.
