The 6th biennial District Conference of Kamrup was held at Multi-purpose , Hall, Guwahati on 28th February, 2025. Com.K C Medhi, District President was in the chair. Com.A Rahman, District Secretary welcomed one and all and presented the activities report . Com.M C Gayari , Treasurer placed the audited accounts.

CHQ President inaugurated the conference covering the issues of the pensioners including pension revision, medical benefits, CGHS, Commutation, 8th CPC etc. Both GMT, Kamrup and CCA Assam addressed and replied to the issues raised by pensioners. Coms, S N Sarma, Circle Secreatary, Gargo Talukdar, Convenor, JCTU, Assam and S Rahman, Vice President, NCCPA addressed the conference. The delegates actively participated in the discussion after which both report and accounts were adopted.

In the unanimous election of office bearers, Com. K C Medhi (President) Com.A Rahaman (District Secretary) Com.Siddique Ali (Treasurer) are the important functionaries.
