An effective general body meeting of Burdwan district was held on 07-04-2018. Com.Md Yunus presided over the meeting. Com.Shyama Pada Ray, District Secretary welcomed all and spoke elaborately on the current issues and the decision to hold the next All India Conference at Kolkata in February, 2019. The progress on the local issues on which sustained agitation was conducted, also explained. Coms. Amalendu Mukharjee, S.S.Mondal, Sourendra Nath Roy, M.L..Das etc also addressed.
