Somalia: WFTU international solidarity with the Somalian people after the recent bombings in Mogadishu

The World Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU), representing more than 92 million workers all over the globe, stands in solidarity with the people and the families of the victims in Mogadishu, Somalia after the last Saturday car bombings which provoked the death of more than 300 people.

At the same time, the WFTU strongly condemns this act which inflicted the deadliest attack in Somalia’s modern history with more than 300 people confirmed dead. As international class-oriented trade union movement, we stand by the people of Somalia who have suffered a lot during the last years from the imperialists interventions.

The WFTU will firmly continue to support the working class in Somalia until a new world rises, with no man-by-man exploitation; A world where the Somalian workers will live in peace, without violence and foreign interventions.
