Ernakulam Distrct Conference has been held in an enthusiastic manner on 27-01-2024 at YMCA hall, Ernakulam. Senior leader Com.P A Kumaran presided over the inaugural session. Com.P Janardhanan, District Secretary welcomed one and all. Com.S Satheesh, Vice Chairman, Youth Welfare Commission inaugurated the conference with an elaborate and educative speech. Com.K G Jayaraj, General Secretary delivered the keynote address and explained the issues confronting the pensioners. Com.N Guruprasad, Circle Secretary spoke on organisatinal matters and the campaign programme of the Coordination Committee. Coms.K K Gopinath (CGPA), P V Sudheesh Babu (Confederation), Ajith Bhaskar (NFPE), P K Gangadharan (AIPRPA) and M N Arunkumar (BSNLEU) greeted the conference. Com.K V Premkumar proposed vote of thanks.

In the subject session, a presidium of Coms.P A Kumaran, N P Peter, A V Kuriakose and K Padmanabhan controlled the proceedings, Com.N Guruprasad, Circle Secretary inaugurated. Com.P Janardhanan, District Secretary presented the biennial report and Com. P A Haneefa the audited accounts. Both the report and accounts were adopted after detailed discussion and reply. Election of office bearers was held unanimously and the following are the important functionaries; Com. P S Peethambaran (President) Com.P Janardhanan (District Secretary) Com, P A Haneefa (Treasurer). With vote of thanks by Com. C K Gopinathan the conference came to an end.
