Com.K G Jayaraj, General Secretary has met Shri.P K Sinha, Member (Finance), Department of Telecommunications on 02-03-2020 and handed over a letter regarding wrong entry in the PPO of VRS retirees. But the Member (Finance) told that there is nothing to worry about the entry and adequate care is taken to safeguard the interests of the VRS retirees. General Secretary brought to his notice that apprehensions are there in the minds of some of the VRS retirees that they may be deprived of future pension revision.  Member (Finance) replied that what ever may be entitled to the superannuation pensioners will be available to the VRS retirees also and they will not be discriminated.

General Secretary also discussed the issue of payment of the first installment of exgratia to the VRS retirees. The Member (Finance) has stated that it is being processed and could be expected shortly.
