Com.V A N Namboodiri, Advisor inaugurated the Kerala Circle Executive Committee meeting at KG Bose Bhawan, Ernakulam on 27-12-2019. Com.R A Nair, Circle President presided over the meeting. Com.N Guruprasad, Circle Secretary welcomed and presented the report. In his inaugural address, Com.V A N Namboodiri, exposed the hollowness of VRS being implemented as part of the BSNL Revival package ,which is nothing but the first step towards privatisation. He also appealed to support the national  Strike on 08-01-2020 by organising solidarity action.

Com.K G Jayaraj, General Secretary explained the decisions of Guwahati Central Executive Committee meeting  , mainly the agitational programme for pension revision, culminating in the Parliament March on 12th March,2020 and has resolved unanimously against seeking legal remedy at this stage.  Each of the agitaional programme is important and has to be made successfull with maximum participation.  The Mass Dharna on 17-12-2019 against non payment of medical benefits was massively responded. Approaching all the VRS optees and enrolling them as our members ia an important work and has to be taken up in right earnest. General Secreatry also reported the decisions of the 4th triennial Conference of NCCPA held on 1-2, November, 2019 at Jaipur.

Coms.S Mohandoss, CHQ Vice President, who is in charge of Kerala Circle participated and recalled the glorious past of the P&T Trade Union movement and the role played by leaders like Com.Tarapada Mukharjee. Com.P V Chandrasekharan, Patron put forward valuable suggestions for successfull implementation of the agitational programme. Com.R Muraleedharan Nair, AGS also addressed the meeting. All the district secretaries and most of the circle office bearers participated in the discussion which was summed up by both the Circle Secretary and General Secretary.

The Circle Executive Committee decided to implement the agitational programme starting with signature campaign in the memorandum to be submitted to the Prime Minister, Meeting the local MPs seeking their hely for early settlement of pension revision in the month of January, 2020, Hunger Strike at CCA office on 12–02-2020 by participating 1000 pensioners and the Parliament March on 12-03-2020 with a minimum participation of 200 from Kerala Circle. It was also decided to organise solidarity dharna on 07-01-2020 in support of the National Strike on 8th January, 2020. The CEC further decided to form a Reception Committee for the successful conduct the National Executive of NCCPA on 25th April at Ernakulam being hosted by AIBDPA.
