KYP (Know Your Pensioner) forms are being collected from the pensioners for this purpose. General Secretary pointed out that there are certain concerns among the pensioners as to how far it would be feasible and successful, particularly those drawing pension through post offices. He also brought to the notice of the DDG regarding the shortage of staff at almost all CCA offices.
The DDG replied that it is a centrally processing system utilizing modern technology and there need be no concerns for timely payment of pension. Regarding staff shortage, 300 AAOs are brought on deputation from Postal Department. She also made an appeal that those who draw pension from post offices may be advised to transfer to banks. They propose to implement the system from November,2018 for those retiring in November and for the current pensioners it will be from 01-04-2019.
