The second biennial district conference of Ahmedabad Telecom District Branch was held on 13-08-2016 at Ahmedabad. The open session was inaugurated by Com.M.B.Chaniyara, CHQ Organising Secretary and Circle Secretary, Gujarat with an elaborate speech covering the settlement of 78.2% IDA merger along with annulment of 60:40 condition and the efforts and struggles of AIBDPA and Forum to achieve the same. Com.Gurucharan Kori, District President controlled the proceedings. Com.D.H.Trivedi, Circle President and Com.H.M.Dataniya, District Secretary, BSNLEU also addressed. Com. K.V.Patel, District Secretary and Com. N.J.Desai, Treasurer presented the report and accounts respectively and were adopted.

Office bearers were elected unanimously and the following are the important functionaries.
