The 4th biennial district conference of Coimbatore has been held successfully at Divyoday Hall, Coimbatore on 27-07-2016. Com.V.Subramoniam, District President controlled the proceedings. The open session was inaugurated by Com. K. G. Jayaraj, General Secretary with an elaborate speech covering the achievement of 78.2% IDA merger, annulment of 60:40, implementation of 7th Pay Commission recommendations, National Strike on September 2, 2016 etc. Coms C.K.Narasimhan, Circle Secretary, S.Mohandoss, CHQ Vice President & Circle President,  C.Rajendran, District Secretary, BSNLEU, Presennan, District Secretary, SNEA, Karunanidhi (AIPRPA), S.Chandran (TNGTA), N.Kuppusamy, District Secretary, Erode, Jothisudanthiranathan, District Secretary, Vellore addressed. Com. L.Umapathy, District Secretary welcomed and Com.Pankajavally proposed vote of thanks.

The report and accounts presented were approved after discussion. A 17 member office bearers were elected unanimously with the following important functionaries.
