Com. K. G. Jayaraj, General Secretary has again met Shri. S.K.Jain, DDG (Estt), DOT on 21-04-2016 to pursue the issue of 78.2% IDA merger. The DDG replied that as assured by him on 18th inst he has already initiated action on receipt of the approval of the minister for preparing the attachments required to be with the cabinet note; viz Hindi translation and additional 50 copies each of the documents.  He stated that the work in this context has been entrusted to the pension section and the official language section. Meanwhile Shri.Prachish Khanna, Director (Estt) who is dealing the issue from the very beginning is on leave and expected to join on 28-04-2016.

General Secretary, then met the ADG, Pension Section and urged early action who replied that work is already started and hoped to complete within a few days. General Secretary also met the concerned officer in the Official Language Section also regarding the Hindi translation of the cabinet note . He after enquiry stated that there are 16 pages and is being done and may be completed by 25th April.
