Today, Com.K.G. Jayaraj, General Secretary has met Shri.Narendra K Yadav, Member (Services), DOT and discussed the issue  of 78.2% IDA merger to BSNL pensioners who retired  before 10-06-2013. On 1st October, 2015,General Secretary had a talk with Shri.Prachish Khanna, Director (Establishment),DOT who had stated that yesterday only he got the file and it is being processed. When asked whether the cabinet note will be now submitted to the cabinet,he had replied that it should again go to the Department of Expenditure. Today General Secretary wanted  to meet him in person to have an on the spot progress on the issue. Unfortunately he was not there and his office staff told that he is on leave for two weeks.

It was on this background that General Secretary met the Member(Services) and brought his notice the above facts. The Member(Services) stated that Shri.Prachish Khanna is not on leave but deputed for a training program for two weeks. General Secretary expressed his strong concerns about the possible delay in processing the file in the absence of the Director(Establishment), Member (Services) assured that some alternate arrangement will be made.
