UPA GOVT’S CRUEL NEGLECT TO EPF PENSIONERS.

The anti worker and anti-pensioner policy of the govt is thorughly exposed once again.
It is known to all the EPF Pensioners are the lowest paid pensioners;they are
being paid a monthly pension starting from Rs.2 to Rs.2000.The plight of these
section of pensioners is to anybody’s guess. They have conducted a series of
agitations and the Central Trade Unions also have taken up their issues with the
government.
Only because of these preassres the Central Board of Trustees unanimously
recommended a minimum pension of Rs.1000 and the labour ministry
also endorsed the decision. The Central Cabinet is also reported to have
approved and therefore the orders was being expected eagerly by all the
concerned. But to the dismay of the pensioners the UPA government
has not initiated any action on this vital issue while the government was
busy pursing the Election Commission for the cause of the corporates.
AIBDPA strongly condemns the double standard and diccrimination of the
UPA government and demands to issue the orders on minimum pension
of EPF Pensioners immediately.
